Just Prayers International Ministry supports children through Child-Focused Community Development program (CFCD). This includes meeting immediate and long-term needs of children in areas of food and nutrition, clothing, shelter, education, and livelihoods. Through this approach, we have the capacity to meet the needs of the children we cover.
Feed a Child: Hunger being a global problem, we are embarking on this project to reach children who cannot afford to get meals as required. With proper nutrition in the early stages of life, children can grow healthy, develop and thrive to their potentials fully. We do shop and distribute foodstuff to the affected groups disregarding their race, culture, religion or ethnicity. We look forward to reach as many children as possible and impact their lives.
Clothe a Child: Every community worldwide has children in need of new clothes. unfortunately, not all families are in a position to provide such basic clothing items they need including shoes, shirts, jackets, jeans, underwear, etc. As followers of Christ in the society, we have the call to help these children obtain new clothing as they need. JPIM Kids Kitty seeks to address the clothing needs of economically disadvantaged children in our communities through partnerships with organizations, churches, friends & businesses. We want to be intentional in addressing the ever-growing needs of children in our community.
Shelter a Child: The safety and needs of children are a critical issue for disadvantaged families, which often influences their health and productivity in the society. Shelters which are not accessible to children create a barrier for families to provide a suitable environment for their generation. As a result of these, some children have ended up in the streets while some have slept in the cold. This is not acceptable in this century. JPIM Kids Kitty seeks to address this issue by paying house rent and building houses for qualified families alongside helping them move from extremely compromised areas to better areas for the sake of their children. Through our Temporary Housing program, we provide innovative learning opportunities to promote the healthy growth and development of children and families across Kenya.
Educate a Child: We believe that every child in every community has the right to an education regardless of who they are, where they live or the financial status of their family. But many children around the world do not have the opportunity to begin or complete school. They are limited by discrimination, poverty and conflict among others.With support from our partners, JPIM Kids Kitty is essential to providing good quality education for all children, including those who are marginalized and most excluded. We provide schooling materials such as uniforms, books, geometrical sets, pencils and pens to the qualified children to ensure they are included in school education.
Livelihood: We teach parents and guardians skills in business and financial management. These skills are necessary for them to provide for their families. Through the our funds and guardian empowerment programs, we believe families will be in a position to be financially stable, self-reliant and be able to support and strengthen their communities. Through our seminars and outreach meetings, we get to these families and empower them. Just Prayers International Ministry team believe children are leaders of tomorrow. As we reach them and help them get basic needs, they will surely grow healthy and be productive in the society. We seek to improve the living standards of children, especially those who are needy, so they can be at the same platform with those from well off backgrounds. This will ensure equal opportunity to explore their potentials, thereby empowering the society worldwide.
